The competition is open for any aerial content shot with a drone.
Participants can submit entries through the SkyPixel website; each entry may only be submitted in one category. The same entry is not permitted for submission in multiple categories.
Videos must not exceed five minutes in length. The entry must contain at least 30 seconds of aerial footage.
Photos must be shot on a drone, and each image must be at least 3 MB with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. EXIF data should be retained.
All equipment should be listed with the entry.
Content that has been previously awarded a prize in other SkyPixel contests is not permitted for use in this contest.
Participants must guarantee that all information provided is accurate, all submitted content belongs to them, and no laws have been infringed upon. Any violation of these rules will lead to disqualification.
The results will be announced on March 22, 2022 (CST), and the public will be notified. During the public notice period that lasts seven days after the winner is announced, if any winning entries are found to be plagiarized or infringe upon any law, please contact the SkyPixel committee before the deadline at skypixel.contact@dji.com

Alex Meliss is a creator from northern Italy who specializes in making engaging social media content and producing advertising campaigns for brands that reach people around the globe. He grew up in the mountains and has become famous for his outdoor YouTube edits, where he has gained more than 115,000 subscribers over the past several years. Drones have always been a big part of Alex's way of capturing content. With the increasing hype surrounding FPV drones over the past few years, he has also gained a lot of attention showing off his incredible flying skills.
Yann Arthus-Bertrand
Yann Arthus-Bertrand has always had a passion for the animal world and the natural environment. When he was 30, he carried out a three-year study on the behavior of a family of lions in the Masai Mara reserve. For the first Rio Conference in 1992, Yann decided to prepare a big work for the year 2000 on the state of the planet entitled The Earth From Above. This book enjoyed great success, selling more than 3 million copies. Yann then created the GoodPlanet Foundation to raise public awareness of environmental issues. He was designated Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme on Earth Day (April 22, 2009). In 2006, Yann started the series From Above, and he undertook the production of the feature film Home. In 2012, Yann also began filming Human, composed of interviews with people from all conditions in 45 countries. In 2017, Yann and the GoodPlanet Foundation opened a center dedicated to humanism and ecology in Paris. In 2020 he released Woman, a feature film co- directed with Anastasia Mikova. This global project highlighted the voices of over 2,000 women

Stefan Foster
Stefan Forster was one of the first professional photographers to explore drone photography back in January of 2013. Using the Mavic and Inspire series, he has captured footage used on major projects from the BBC, Netflix, Google, and many others. The Swiss photographer, filmmaker, and author also owns a travel agency that provides group expeditions for photographers and filmmakers all around the world.
Karim Iliya
Karim Iliya is a photographer, drone pilot, filmmaker, and whale swimming guide based in Hawaii and Iceland. Karim aims to use photography and videos to show a unique perspective and uncover new worlds underwater that few have had the opportunity to see. These works tell stories about people, places, and animals in order to make the world a better place. His passion lies in documenting whales, big cats, and other threatened animals in order to help protect some of the earth’s most delicate ecosystems. Karim has worked in over 45 countries and won multiple awards, including the Hasselblad Masters and SkyPixel Aerial Photo & Video Contest, and his humpback whale photography has been published in National Geographic Magazine.
Yu Yuntian
Yu joined China Civil Aviation magazine in 1982 and has spent his career working as a press photographer and editor-in-chief. He has also been the Vice Chairman of the China Photography Copyright Association, Vice Director of the China Photographers Association's Art Photographic Committee, and an Editorial Board Member of China Photography. Yu's works have won numerous awards in China and abroad and have been featured in many exhibitions. Yu has participated as a judge in several major international photographic contests. He won the first Golden Statue Award in 1989 and was recognized as a world-renowned photographer in 1998 by Nikon in We Take the World's Greatest Pictures. He published the book I Think, and I Go - Shooting in Mountains and Canyons in 2001 and published the photo album Photographic Artist of China - Yu Yuntian in 2018. He was the guest of the TV show A New Perspective on Photography by Beijing TV in 2021.
