因山顶向上突出，酷似犁尖，被当地人亲切唤做华尖山，地处甘孜州泸定县冷碛镇黑沟村境内，贡嘎雪山东南侧，邻靠二郎山，与“绝佳摄影圣地”牛背山、四人同山三足鼎立。华尖山步行只需4小时左右登顶，也可乘坐当地摩托登顶。
